In January, the Club visited the newly revamped and reopened Peterson Automotive Museum in Los Angeles. The Museum, a mainstay in the LA automotive arena for years, has recently undergone a massive $120 million renovation which includes a dramatic modern-art façade. As we learned, the interior also got a professional makeover and many of the exhibits are now dramatically staged. The overall quality of the cars on exhibit has also been boosted.

After our leisurely self-guided tour, it was a short walk up Fairfax to Bergin’s Irish Pub where we had a private room (and overflow) for our group. The fish and chips topped the charts for popularity with diners, much to the dismay of the kitchen which could only fry up four pieces at a time…needless to say, the lunch service was “extended”, but much camaraderie (and a few extra pints) were shared by all.

A total of 48 Members and Guests attended, a great turnout for a Sunday during football season.
