QUEEN’S ENGLISH CAR SHOW AND BRUNCH

The following day, Sunday the 23rd, the annual Queen’s English Car Show was held at Woodley Park in Van Nuys. After a brutally hot Saturday, things cooled off a bit on Sunday but the shade was still welcome. As always, this event draws the numbers. In all over sixty (60!) Jags were on the field ranging from XK120s to the latest F Types. This was the largest turn out of any make and the most in recent memory.
As there is no judging and no trophies here, most of us just took the opportunity to look over the 400 or so cars on display, many of them quite rare and/or unusual.

A swap meet was also in progress all day and goodly number of food trucks showed up to keep the crowd happy. However, about 1pm a group of about twenty Jag and Healey Club members retired to the 94th Aero Squadron for their Sunday Brunch.
