“ALL ABOARD!”
If you grew up in Southern California or the East Coast, you’ll remember the days of railroad steam engines, trolley cars, conductors, streamliners, observation cars, club cars, and elegant dining cars. Did you ever ride the “RED CAR” from Long Beach to Los Angeles? Take a trip on the “Santa Fe Super Chief?” Have you been to Union Station in Downtown Los Angeles?
Well, here’s your chance to see and ride on some of Southern California’s railroad history. The SoCal Railway Museum has actual running stock including the iconic RED CAR and P-Line electric trolley cars. See old steam locomotives and passenger cars. Relive a by-gone era of transportation before the Inter-State Highways and Jet Passenger planes.
