With rewarding ownership dating back to 1970, owner is ready to say goodbye. Car’s serial number is 1E30866 and has been driven roughly 126,000 miles over the years (Approximately 40,000 miles at time of purchase in 1970). About 7,000 of these miles have come since an engine overhaul in 1991. Original 4-Speed gearbox (EJ 2440) is installed with a bearing replaced in 1991 also.
A full history of maintenance and repair work is available that covers the entire time of the current owner’s possession. Vehicle has been garaged during most of these years, although the car is by no means a “hanger queen.” It has been driven as far as the ski resorts of Oregon and even used as a commute vehicle in more recent years in the San Diego region. Price includes various original replacement parts, if desired, by the prospective buyer. Repair and enhancements include installation of Weber 45 DCOE 152 carburetors by the owner in 2016. The most recent major repair work was replacement of the dented and corroded floor panels by a North San Diego Jaguar expert in 2019.
